Online predators are people who use chat rooms, instant messaging, or social networking sites for the purpose of meeting others offline for unsafe or disturbing reasons. These people may even want to take advantage of their victims. Some ways online predators take advantage of their victims are by sexually, psychologically, or financially harassing the victim. Online predators do not fit any mold or stereotype, and it is usually very difficult to spot them. To protect yourself from this problem, use these tips below:
