Intro to Cyber bullying
Cyber bullying is the use of electronics to bully someone, usually through threats or posting unnecessarily cruel comments or pictures. Over the years, cyber bullying has increased, due to the fast advances in technology. For example, based on www.bullyingstatistics.org over 80 percent of teens use a cell phone regularly, making it the most popular form of technology and a common medium for cyber bullying.
There are four different types of people involved in a cyber bullying situation: the cyber bully, the target, the up-stander,and the bystander.

- Up-stander is the person who stands up against the cyber bully to defend those who are being tormented; the type of person each of us should be in a cyber bullying situation.
- Cyber bully- the person who does something to hurt others through posting, texting, and using their electronics to harass someone; this person will threaten you and make you feel sad, alone ,and scared.
- Target- the person in the situation who is receiving the bullying, the one who is being attacked by the cyber bully
- Bystander- the person who doesn't take action when they see others being bullied online, they stand by when they could help
